Bo Tai Bo Ji tio slapped -$400

This post is supposed to make me live longer because i am expressing my anger instead of keeping it inside of me.

I am displeased with starhub. I signed up a mobile internet with them months ago- 7.2mbps for 37 bucks/mth if im not wrong but have been provided with less than 1.0mbps download speed. I was thinking to myself, ok fine perhaps reception not good in certain areas but could it be so bad that it can DC from the net? hello?

So i endured till recently, perhaps 16 months of injustice and i disposed the pathetic made in china huawei USB modem after ive given up on starhub though im still paying for the monthly subscription fee as donations- out of my good will despite NO USAGE. not even 1kbps ok? 

So there come to a point when i get really lazy so i thought i just pay the remaining 240 (40 x 6mths)  bucks when my contract matures in november. After 4 months, they auto-terminated my line and slapped me with the termination charges of 200 bucks on top of my outstanding bill amounting to 400? what sent me into a rage was that they sent a lawyer’s letter in less than 2 weeks?! Why so efficient in getting legal help- their administration fee i pay ma. 

that excess 160 bucks is not cool! i can literally go toilet 1600 times with that kinda of money! So naturally, i emailed them and they told me its stated in the contract that termination will occur after 3 months notice of reminder and asked me to refer to the contract i signed on day 1. For the love of God, how the fuck can i remember where did i put my contract when its 16 months ago? 

So now what? Starhub is squeezing my pocket out for the extra 160 bucks despite knowing my contract is maturing in november? is this how desperate and poor starhub is? 

Sent them a email to RECONNECT my line because i refuse to oblige with the early termination and expect the penalty fee to be waived but still no reply. so much for your 24-hours customer service? just scrape it off.

The CB indian mother fucker lawyer still insist that i pay within 5 days in the letter before further legal actions will be taken. 

As a matter of fact, i paid for a 7.2mpbs service which is also stated in the contract and starhub breached the contract by providing me with a download speed of slower than 1.0mbps download speed. For this, since expected service is not received by the service provider, legally the cost incurring to me should not be charged. Secondly, though its their reserved right to terminate my contract after some criteria, they cant expect me to pay for that penalty charges when i DID NOT AGREED on any factors on the termination of contract. 

Yes its only 160 bucks more, but i rather go toilet 1600 times or buy 540 packs of tissue paper from elderly in the streets than give a big organization like starhub this money after all the SHIT service and response they provided me with. 

If they still insist that i pay the penalty by refusing to reconnect my ‘service’ or whatsoever, i am more than willingly to take this out in court with my lawyer based on 2 rights i deserve- customer’s rights and breaching of contract of service rendered to consumer. Who knows i might get a hefty sum at the end of the day too though i doubt starhub will take this case out so far like going into a court fight or something because i am only one of the minority who is fighting for my rights when majority would just pay just to avoid legal actions to be done to them. Reasons why people is afraid of law, is because they do not know law. 

After this recent case, i know definitely that i will not be starhub’s customer ever again. It a konglanjiaowei company who exploits consumer’s time and money. for my case, the early termination of contract just 2 months before my contract expires. Nice!
